I'm really horrible at naming my blog posts...

Sorry! So many of my friends have the cutest little titles for their blog posts, but the truth is... I really suck at it! Really, I just wanted to take a spare second I found in my day and post a little update!

Chris is all registered for classes at BYU for the fall, and we're super excited about that. He changed is major (already) to Nutritional Sciences instead of Biology. The good: He really likes to study nutrition, and 4 of his major classes are nutritional science. Also he doesn't have to take anatomy!! The bad: 4 of his major classes are physics!! ouch! The ugly: Chris will be finding time to attend TWO schools this upcoming year. He'll be taking the bare minimum of 12 credit hours at BYU as well as attending night classes at MATC to become a Pharmacy Tech. Soooo, we'll see how that goes!

My everyday still pretty much consists of renting cars to the pleasant people of Orem, UT. One experience I especially enjoyed happened just the other day. A man walked in and said, "You're supposed to have a car here for me. Where is it?" Do you have a reservation, sir? "'Course I do! I just talked to you on the phone!" Hm, I don't recall that sir. What is your name? "Nelson! Lady, I just talked to you on the phone!" Okay, sir. I just found your reservation and it's at our North Orem location. This is South Orem. Would you like me to give you their address? "Well, Lady... why don't you just stick it up your rear!! How d'ya like that??" And then he walked out. Of course, I didn't chase him into the parking lot to tell him I could have easily helped him (we had cars to spare)... I just wasn't in the mood to stick anything "up my rear."

I'm also planning to sign up for courses 2 and 3 of the Wilton Cake decorating classes one of these days, if I ever remember to do it!  And that's about it for me... rent cars, recover from renting cars, rent cars, recover from renting cars... same crap, different days. Love it. :)

P&P

Back in my high school days, I spent a lot of Friday nights watching Pride and Prejudice.  And, unfortunately, I do mean A LOT of Friday nights. And today I realized, that I have not watched the movie since I got married! It's been nearly three years since I sat down for 6 straight hours and lost myself in Elizabeth Bennett's story. So, today, I pulled it off the shelf and recruited my husband to relive my wild and crazy high school days with me. We're about 2 hours into it, and he's probably an hour into his nap :)

I can't think of better way to spend this Easter Sunday!

Leaving Home...all over again.

It's like having your heart broken at least twice a year and always around the holidays.

I can't even explain how horrible this feels- the night before I fly back to Utah. I think it's been dozens of times now that I've done this, and it never, ever gets easier. it starts the first night I'm home. As I'm going to bed, I think "This isn't going to last. It never lasts." And I feel the first pang of heart break. But then I remember my mom telling me that a truly happy person is happy no matter where they are, and so I try to push away the dread of going back to Utah that I already feel and try to just enjoy the time I have with my family. But it always comes back to bite me, because while I'm blissfully spending time at home, the clock just keeps racing towards the end. No matter what I do, how hard I try to ignore it, it still comes. Every, single, time. And before I know it, here I am again- crying in the dark, waiting, inevitably, for morning to come and take me away.

And I just get to do it again, and again, for two more years.

This is why teenagers suck.

A) They don't hang out with their big sister when she comes home for a visit.
B) They don't care if they don't hang out with their big sister when she comes home for a visit.
C) They don't even stay in town when their big sister comes home for a visit.

Happy Spring Break, Keat. Knock yourself out. Hope it's a blast. Oh, and enjoy navigating BYU all by yourself when I abandon YOU to hang out with MY friends. BFF!
