What's yours is mine, and what's mine is... mine.

If I see it, 
it's mine.

If I want it,
it's mine.

If I give it to you and change my mind later,
it's mine.

If I can take it away from you,
it's mine.

If we are building something together,
all the pieces are mine.

If it looks just like mine,
it's mine.

And if it's mine, it will never belong to anyone else.
No matter what.


I was just thinking today how long it's been since I've had any jewelry (or anything else for that matter) all to myself, and this poem came to mind. It's been coming to mind a lot lately...





I promise we don't dress her in Nebraska paraphernalia everyday, but Chris has dressed her the past two days, and he's just discovered that this stuff fits her now. Here are a few more from today (she just looks so grown up to me today!):
