Viva Las Vegas

Disclaimer: I know that it really annoys some people to look at a blog post that has a billion pictures. This is one of those posts. If you are going to judge me for this, avert your eyes. Consider yourself warned.

Chris and I finally went to Las Vegas last weekend! I know, I know, Vegas isn't that big of a deal (especially out here)-- but I've never been before (and Chris only once a long time ago), and we've really been wanting to check it out and just have never made the time for it. Chris and I are, obviously, not big travelers (excepting North Carolina and California, that is!) and have seen so little of the west since we've been living in Utah. We're trying to hit a few big places before we move back east and Vegas was definitely at the top of my list--- so that's one down!

We had SO. MUCH. FUN. If you ever go to Vegas, make sure to take along your Angela and Eamon. There is no way we would have enjoyed the trip half as much without them. Say hi, guys:

Angela and Eamon know Vegas pretty well and effortlessly navigated us to all the cool stuff and diverted us, pretty successfully, from most of the scummy stuff on the strip. It was impressive. Also, they're the best company to have in the world. *Bonus*

Ok, are you ready for lots of pictures? 'Cause here they come!

We started the first day with an awesome bubble bath for Emma-- baby's gotta have her vacation fun too!

On our way to breakfast, we got a little sidetracked by these awesome cupcakes at the Cupcakery. I almost died when I saw that they put glitter on EVERYTHING. It was like Heaven. And they even gave the me the name of the glitter dust they use. It should arrive in 3-5 business days-- Thank you, Amazon!

Ah, breakfast. At Max Brenner's. Most of the food on the menu involves chocolate. Hummana-hum-hum. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

At a fish tank in Caesar's Palace. There were a lot of fish in Vegas, who knew?

Angela and I with the Blue Man Group :}

Making our way through the Venetian...

And now, for the most wonderful of all wonderful places: Serendipity.

This where Angela and Eamon stayed. And I could not have looked like more of geeky tourist taking this pictures. We were literally the people walking around with a camera around the neck.

The hotels were all decked out for the Chinese New Year:

More chocolate...

We went to the aquarium in Mandalay Bay (some of the pics are blurry-- sorry, still learning how to use all the settings on my new camera!):

Emma finally crashing at the end of the night:

Our hotel:

(just had to show you the zoomed up view on Emma's face)

The Statue of Liberty, made out of Jelly Beans:

Coca-Cola world (or something like that?), we tried 16 different flavors of "coke" from around the world. Tip: The Beverly from Italy is not good.

Fountain show at the Bellagio:

And that was our Vegas Vacation! If you made it this far, thanks for caring enough to look through the massive amount of pictures!

PS- For CUPCAKE-filled Vegas fun, check out my other blog, Something Swanky.

I hope this doesn't sound weird.. This is Audrey, your neighbor. :) In 389. I found your blog from Heather Musser's. We're actually going to Vegas this weekend and I've never been and we don't know where to go!! These places all look super fun! Was there anything else you did that would be a must?? Darbi is 2 and I think she would like all the animals and fish too.
